KenPom has LSU at 62, and Miami at 90.

To which I join every LSU fan in saying "Dude."

I know what an LCS is, but this doesn't seem to have anything to do with winning a pennant.

Disagree. You have the possibility of enjoying the final outcome.

Flynn, we hardly knew ye: A brief history of short White House stays Michael Flynn's was by far the shortest tenure of a National Security Advisor (not counting acting and interim caretakers) since the position was created in 1953 during the Cold War.

What Tatsuya Imai Actually Showed Against Miami Tatsuya Imai’s spring outing against Miami was short, but it revealed the part of his profile that will matter most this season: the game never sped up on him.

I'll take what Bluesky would have said after the practice comment for $600, Alex

Man, this is going to produce so many op-eds about how Democrats need to stop disrespecting Republicans in power.

Tangential fact. The mall closest to my house here in New Jersey is called...Willowbrook Mall. It's like I've progressed not all all since I was 13.

The Astros farm system is so bad I'm concerned they didn't get 30 guys on their top 30 list.

Skill issue from Big 10 Commissioners.

Understood. But when I add in New Jersey turnout (both primaries and general), special elections, WI Supreme Court, everything points to Dems picking up 5 to 7 on the margin.

Texas is at the high edge of that.

And the same on the GOP side since 2012. I don't favor Talarico in November, but my best is that it's closer than 2018 (Cruz over Beto by 2.6%).

One the one hand, Republicans have a ton of money and they'll essentially max out what they can spend anywhere. One the other hand, this chart is encouraging news for Dems.

Almost 1 million more Democrats voted in this year's Texas primary than did in 2022.

More Democrats voted in this year's primary than did Republicans, for the first time since 2002.

Astros still need to clear infield logjam. An Isaac Paredes trade is the obvious move Astros GM Dana Brown said last month that his team wasn't done making moves. It's time for him to follow through on that claim.

The first sentence of this @ken-rosenthal.bsky.social piece says "The Houston Astros’ infield surplus is untenable."

But it's not. The Opening Day lineup will have Paredes at DH and Yordan in LF.

This is not ideal, but it's certainly tenable.
