I feel the need to say the obvious: People with enough power (wealth, influence, etc.) to see the rules of the world as not applying to them, because they have the means to avoid the consequences of breaking the rules, should not be allowed to have that much power.

An Aussie labradoodle with apricot color fur and nose, wearing a little neck tie with a fruit pattern, looks up and to the right past the camera with his big shining puppy dog eyes.

This is a pic of my doodle, Neville, when he first came home to us at 2 months old in December, 2019.

…I also want to say 25 yrs older for similar reasons: I have stories and questions enough to start conversations, I have a lot to learn from their life experience, and I enjoy being self-deprecating about my lack of mastery.

Ok, finally going to post here… and it’s a doodle from a meetup I went to with amazing people at JSMA PSU. This brought me joy, so I consider it relevant.

If I asked my spouse, who’s a public librarian, she’d probably say something boring like, β€œlet him read manga, at least he’s reading.”

I believe this cover script is the earliest recorded use of β€œOMG” in the sense that we now use it. Note the condensed O, the extended M, and condensed g as a way to indicate inflection. πŸ˜‰
