Oh this is wonderful news!
Very true! I’m excited for you. It’s one of the best electric cars out there.
Enjoy the GV60! My partner found his on the second hand market too - fantastic value for an incredible car. I’m surprised we don’t see more of them on the road.

A newt-ron is a subatomic particle, that has no electric charge.
🦎 Tell that to this newt. Called Ron.
🐝 This particular Octopus Electroverse card has been used to rescue a bee, a newt, and charge an electric car (once).
Who knew that RFID cards could be so versatile?!

🚀 Loved attending the launch of Xpeng in the UK.
⚡️ About that flying car… the X2 is already on sale in China, with deliveries due to start next year. It won’t come to the UK anytime soon.
🇬🇧 The good news? The Xpeng G6 EV is now officially on sale in the UK.
No… North West England.
Nothing to do with electric cars, just a very cute kitten.
Good point Bill.
My ten year old daughter has grown up with #EVs being her norm. So no surprise when she said out of the blue:
“Wow! Year after next we’ll able to say ‘in three years’ time we won’t be able to buy a new petrol or diesel car.’”
We all deserve to breathe clean air.
📸 How to hug an electric car, 2018
Hi! What a lovely car - how exciting! Yes, am no longer on Twitter. Sad to leave, but felt like the right thing to do.
Woo hoo! The winner of the What Car? Car of the Year award… the all-electric Renault 5.
It oozes with nostalgia, and a very friendly range of up to 253 miles (52kWh battery).
And starting from around £22,000, it errs on the side of affordability - another win.
England’s North West - a great place to live… and drive electric!
📊 North West leads UK EV leasing with 19% of all leases, followed by London (16%)
💡 EV leasing is growing thanks to affordability, better charging infrastructure, and low rates of Benefit in Kind

All carmakers in UK to escape fines for missing electric car sales targets in 2024.
All car makers, with one exception, sold enough cars, or can use ‘flexibilities’, to avoid fines under the zero-emissions vehicle (ZEV) mandate.
The ZEV Mandate is working.

We all deserve to breathe clean air.
This is the main reason that I have advocated for the uptake of zero tailpipe emission vehicles, pretty much on a daily basis, since 2012.
Are there really any valid counter arguments to the fact that we all deserve to breathe clean air?
I can’t think of any.
I had to look that one up!
“In five years, electric cars will have taken over” my ten year old daughter sagely informed me.
Her statement was entirely unprompted. She knows about the 2030 date - it’s been a topic of discussion in our house for years.
I love that electric cars are her norm. No living in the ICE age for her.

No need to plug in. Just activate climate control remotely via the app, and within minutes the car is ready to drive - clear windows and toasty warm cabin.
This is definitely my favourite remote function right now.
Stay cosy and safe everyone.

I had my first experience of the GV60 at Everything Electric. Fell in love instantly.
🏡 My Electric Driveway

On-street charging comes in many sizes.
I took this photo on one of my regular running routes. The charging cable is covered and clearly visible. As a pavement plodder, it didn’t present itself as a trip hazard to me. It may to others.
How do you view this - is it an acceptable charging solution?
⛽️ Queuing is a fuel’s game.
I reckon the cars at the back will need to wait between 15-20 minutes to nozzle up with petrol or diesel, depending on how long each person ahead of them spends in the shop.
🔋 That’s the same of time I’ve queued at #EV chargers in over a decade of driving electric cars.
🏴 I’ve just spent a day or two driving a Tesla Model Y around rural North Wales, on miles of single track roads.
In a car like the Model Y, setting off with 300 miles of range, it would be a challenge to run out of charge. Didn’t even need to use the destination charger we found the next day.
It’s electric car Tuesday!
⚡️But what #EV am I in… and how many seats does it have?
