A somewhat distant view of a massive supercell thunderstorm at night. Intracloud lightning illuminates the clouds with hues of purple, blue, and orange. A stout rotating updraft is clearly visible in the center of the frame. Just barely noticeable underneath (right above the tree line) is an ongoing tornado. (4-19-2023)

This beast near Etowah, OK produced two separate sets of twin tornadoes, followed by an EF3 tornado, and then a 1.25 mile-wide tornado that hit Shawnee, OK... all in the span of one hour. #photography #ArtAdventCalendar
