Running Three.js with WebGL on a cheap Linux gaming handheld WITHOUT a web browser.
#threejs
Played trombone in marching band; this is the truth. Trumpets get all the solos.
The reason people joke about bassists being pointless is because people don't consciously hear the bass, and thus come to the conclusion that it isn't there. Oftentimes, bass parts get mistaken for guitar (my sister was shocked to learn John Deacon's iconic bassline on Pressure was in fact bass).
Maybe try sit-ups?
You could both be getting better at piano right now
What's really cool about emulation handhelds is they can fast-forward. That really improves Pokemon, you spend most of the time walking around.
Just one more CPU would have fixed it!! ๐
Nothing like some pickle juice to replenish the electrolytes!
If they had sent me the red one, or even a black transparent one I'd have probably kept it. It's very portable!
Do you run a custom firmware? Rocknix runs pretty good on it so far; auto-sleep on hinge close doesn't work, but there could be a fix for that.
But if you can afford it, the Ayn Thor is definitely the best one available right now. It can play PlayStation 2, and Nintendo Switch even! www.ayntec.com/products/ayn...
I'd probably recommend this one anbernic.com/products/rg-...
I just bought an RG35XXSP and I'm not impressed honestly; mostly because the buttons are clicky, and the charging port seems to be loose.
That said I've bought three other Anbernic devices, they are the cheapest, and they have support for many custom firmwares like Rocknix, Knulli, ArkOS etc.
This website is VERY useful for choosing which device you want. You can compare any two devices, and filter for which systems you're interested in playing.
I recommend getting one with Wifi so you can earn @retroachievements.org and download boxart and manuals:

You can play PlayStation games on it too!

Spitz is a gem!
A burger in a basket of fries next to a cup of soda on a table. The burger has pieces and bacon and a smear of peanut butter and special sauce.
My favorite burrito is Pig Patas, and Pizza Jerk is my go-to slice. JoJo's are one of our better inventions, there's a food truck on the Westside that does them right. But my favorite thing of all is the Peanut Butter Pickle Bacon Burger from Killer Burger!
It can handle rewind and shaders with 4th gen consoles, but not with PSX, Saturn, or N64. I can live without shaders, but I LOVE me some rewind!
Biggest problem is the USB-C port seems to disconnect when wiggled. Possibly a bad solder? That's big bad!
The JSDoc compiler is insanely fast. It takes 0.00000s to compile my JavaScript app.
> buy piano
> place piano next to computer
> every time someone is wrong on the Internet, play piano instead of correcting them
> you can now play the piano
Fans of Arch Linux may now rejoice, as Arch R brings the popular Linux distribution to everyone's (my) favorite affordable entry into emulation.

Mostly though, I've just realized I should just be using my RG Arc more. It's not the most pocketable, but it's got a nice D-Pad and I haven't even finished Panzer Dragoon Saga yet!
I don't care for the buttons much and the screen isn't great, but it's an okay little doodad. I've been thinking about setting up a couple of these for my nieces, or maybe RG35XXHs.
I think it's fine for all the <4th Gen consoles really.
Anbernic finally agreed to give me a full refund ๐ฎโ๐จ
Now that I know it's going back I'm in a hurry to install Rocknix on it and see how some games perform with shaders and such.
I'm a bit spoiled by my Retroid Pocket 5; I forget that the H700 is a MUCH less capable chip.
Copy and paste the bunny and then put something else in his hand.

Part of my mental health journey has been limiting the amount of time I spend around random people online that just compulsively interact with shit that makes them miserable and then foist it onto everyone else. It's not healthy to do that and I also don't want to see it every day.

wild to know that every time I'm on Bluesky, somewhere obscured and opaque to my sight and knowledge is endless roiling, cascading fields of Drama, occasionally interpenetrating my sense faculties full of sound and fury, like seeing lightning flash from a mile away, the sky lit up with death threats
