Yup. Unfortunately that may be the goal. They want us back in the “work force” working for their corporations making them money.

I know the idea of supporting small businesses is totally played out but if you know self employed artists or creatives right now and have any way to support them it would be a great time to do that. Art is a gift that benefits an artist, the giver, and the receiver all equally.

Same. Health insurance is now not available to artists. Says it right there in the fine print where the price is. 🫠🫠🫠

Great! Now do visual art. These companies owe some artists alot of money. They essentially ruined their whole visual identity.

We had a Paint Jam / meet the artists day prior to starting our murals at Sprinker Skatepark in Parkland Wa. Everyone seemed to have a great time. I cant wait to get started on this mural project.

I’ve been painting this past week. Here one of them. A little larger size for me. I have a show coming up in December and also am getting ready to start a big mural in about a week or so. I wanted to get my brush hand going again and switch over from clay to painting a bit beforehand.

Price capped shows only make sense for me when the commission goes to a cause I support. Like a local arts organization who is actively creating opportunities for artists. Otherwise, I make the work, I set the price. There are great galleries out there who support artists. And some that grift us.
