Other than that, it's whatever. Really funny to think back and how everyone was talking about this, since it was the first animation released after Super ended. What place would you say a promo anime like this even has in DB's history?

First time watching this since it came out. I admire it more now for being an anime version of kids on the playground, where you just say something happens because it does. Goku Xeno and Vegetto's fits are great. Like how unhinged Fu starts sounding. Music has a couple cool bits too.
No one needs to watch the DB or DBZ anime, and it's probably better off if you've only read the manga. I've gotten away with doing only that and the video games for 30 years counting, lol.
(And by this I mean "the whole anime", of course I've watched chunks of it over the years.)
I'd just want you to get to the point where the random Shida animation happens, nothing else matters after
It is also a bit sad that the original manga's story still doesn't seem to have much going on in the modern era. In terms of real-time, do you think Super in all its forms will be ongoing longer than the original manga or anime at this point?
Super: Beerus is obviously the biggest talking point tho. Think I'm past the point of being annoyed by the old story content shown as new again, but still squarely in the "they really had to make the anime more confusing to watch" camp. Will be good talk material for the production scholars, though!
That 40th anniversary video was incredible, and I'm glad the Moro arc folks will eventually be getting we they want. I'm probably the most interested in what the Age 1000 game turns out to be, if it'll be XV3 in all but name or if it'll have it's own unique gameplay (my favorite thing to see).
Dixie and GameShare is so sick!
Mine too! Curious to know what you think once you get some playtime.
Next up should be Skins UK, if we're doing teen angst from that era.
Your specialty is being able to find a lot of things to say about things you think you have nothing to say about, so the vid'll be fine. Just try to keep from falling asleep watching 😅
INSTANT GRATIFICATION ENGAGED, BABY
Congrats on getting to the big show! The whole final act is incredibly strong, like "leaving the movie theater with a high and a smile on your face" strong. I freaking love that feeling, man.
I had a running bet with myself that Bananza would ultimately end up as your #2 game of all time, odds looking pretty good right now. Excited to hear the rest of your thoughts and reflection on it in the end!
4-hour Kongversation incoming, and I'm ready for it!
I think in the top-right corner of the last part, where DK is fighting the purple spike balls, there's a character bouncing up and down? I wanna say it's Wrinkly, but not sure enough to say.
