music is pure wild for memory-based brain nonsense. I didn't even know 'Burst' by Shelleyan Orphan until a month ago and it's making me wistfully remember getting in on the ground floor of Vertigo comics while wearing a little hat with beads on, despite doing neither of those things

no Hidden Gems yet but the general production of it's pummeling me with nostalgia and making me think about hanging my jacket up in the right area at primary school
Got 'Toy Soldier' by Martika stuck in my head, so figured I should listen to the album to see if it contains Hidden Gems. Judging by the link colours on the Internet, I tried this previously while drunk and made it as far as track 4. Going for the whole album this time.
was thinking the other day that I don't really see wikipedia or other similar websites (imdb etc) being things that are upated or edited with any rigour in future, they're a "95-2015" thing at best, I feel. Could be wrong, hopefully nerds love giving people emotionless info forever
good luck to them all, these men who were not and are not cool
It's hilarious that "working class" now applies exclusively to the racist failsons of regional car dealership owners but every unemployed trans person is an "elite".
looking at the list of scottish band pages on wikipedia and having a little chuckle at the ones that were contemporaneous to the band I used to be in and the fact the pages were definitely written by the band members
"He further shows cunning through his later successful attempt to convince France to drop its objections to America dumping its out of date nuclear submarines in the Indian Ocean by pretending to have a French ancestor and an appreciation for French culture."
Priest's "Presidency" is a disaster for Earth, marred by his own incompetence, cowardice, laziness, and gross lack of ethics. One of his first actions as President was to attempt the assassination of Prince (again), which failed and resulted in the complete destruction of the city of Orlando, Florida. Priest, with Prince's help, managed to blame the city's destruction on Cuba, which they then nuked off the face of the Earth. Because of Priest's tendency to play sexual games with Bunny instead of working, America, and the world at large, soon falls apart. Priest refuses to take calls from the UN or other international bodies, provokes several Middle Eastern nations to declare a Jihad against the United States, fails to help South Carolina after a major disaster, ignores the threats of the South to secede from the Union, launches unprovoked nuclear attacks on Newfoundland and Vietnam, and does nothing to counter a massive alien invasion. Despite his all around ineptitude, stupidity, and lack of enthusiasm, when properly motivated Priest can display a certain low cunning. He displays rare

after the UK splits apart due to some sort of 2029 missile complications, I'm going to campaign for Scotland's national anthem to be the Brunnen G fight song
a man grimaces horribly, in a chair somewhere? Hard to say. Leaning from behind it is a sort of concerned-looking woman

Jack Kirby art from THE DEMON
A great malignant form squeezed its frame through the cracks of the world; it writhed, it swam, it squelched in the dark. surly, imperious figure bounding across delusion-choked air, shimmering appendages crawling upon rippling muscles, violaceous chitin, impossibly stretched limbs reaching out into phantasmagoric depths of its birth.

looks like she's wearing this as gloves, which I respect

at the risk of sounding very old, I'm pretty sure Belvita Soft Bakes have gotten smaller
Stramash colour bits , have put together a little book of black and white sketches type thing more to scratch my own itch but will print some up once I work out the best way to do it.
Thought Bubble should also be held there
I think Bill Callahan should play his one UK show in Edinburgh instead of in London, and it should be downstairs in the music bit at the pub 5 minutes from me

I watched it using Other Means, but seems there's at least two version on the you tube
which isn't a criticism, I think Ed Wood's an interesting writer!!! Give me that stuff any day over 'realistic dialogue'
didn't realise it was based on a book, but that makes sense. The film has people talking about things we're never shown and in ways that suggest the writer had things to say about concepts that aren't given a chance to be explored in the film beyond shoehorned-in Ed Wood-style weird monologues
So Philip Glass just joined TikTok. He only has like 4 posts and theyβre simply him in what I assume is his living room playing the piano. First comment on one I saw was βyour piano is too close to the fireplace, youβll dry it outβ and if thatβs not the internet in a nutshell I donβt know what is.
A biker played by Ted Raimi trapped in the lair of Windom Earle. He is asking "I mean, White Lodge, Black Lodge? I mean what's the big deal?" ("Twin Peaks," episode 26, 1991)
Ted Raimi ain't got time for this Mythos Bullshit.
