is it just me or does nostalgia sometimes feel haunting? like... it's a lovely reminder of a pleasant time/perspective long past, yet it's persistently haunting that you'll never find it again. a snapshot of an era you deeply crave to return to, permanently out of reach.

i'll always have a soft spot for shows i grew up with like little bear, charlie & lola, miss spider's sunny patch friends, max & ruby, etc. and that lives on in the widespread appreciation of bluey! shows that have something for parents, too. plus they're just super soothing hahaha
