That's not anxiety, it's the entire model
Are you talking about mandates in general, or for school participation (and participation in other institutions/activities)?
Parents have little time to sift through misinformation and grifts and, frankly, it shouldn't be on us to do our own research, as @publichealthguy1.bsky.social notes. It's a systemic issue, not a moral failing, for the vast number of parents with questions about vaccines.
For sure! But I think people do kinda act that way without thinking -- filling up on snacks and then having little appetite for a meal
"showing symptoms of anxiety" BRO he was trained on the internet and my book!
I used to prefer paperbacks because they were lighter, but hardcover is nice if you're taking notes and planning to re-read -- they hold up better
AGREED
I was just thinking about this last night. This is a long-term fight; we have to protect our joy and allow ourselves to have good days. It's not some betrayal; it's necessary.
In every Republican presidency of my lifetime there's been a recession and a new war in the Middle East.
*looking around* how the hell did all these slurs get in here? did someone leave the door open again
I'm thinking of enrolling my almost-three-year-old in hip hop dance class and I cannot wait to see what this class entails

That's kind of Vinay Prasad's whole thing
1. It is not *necessarily* unethical to run a sham surgery trial for a serious disease. It depends on whether it's necessary to answer the relevant scientific questions and if risks can be minimized enough for the benefits of answering those questions to outweigh them.
Keep in mind, as journalists were only supposed to offer anonymity if someone is not authorized to speak / would face repercussions.
Once again we have a senior FDA official refusing to speak on the record in a *press conference.* Why? What's the danger to putting their name on it?
"UniQure has said it wouldnβt be feasible to run a true randomized, double-blind placebo-controlled study, considered the gold standard, because it wouldnβt be ethical to make people undergo a sham hours-long brain surgery." www.cnbc.com/2026/03/05/f...

NOEM TAKING QUESTIONS - DOES NOT APPEAR TO KNOW SHE WAS FIRED
Bill Cassidy said if such recordings existed, they needed to be handed over immediately, at which point Mullin stopped bringing it up.
But I still wonder: did he withhold evidence? Or was he just making the entire thing up? 2/2
At a hearing of former CDC officials last year (Susan Monarez and Debra Houry), Mullin claimed multiple times that there was a recording of Monarez and Kennedy where they spoke about rubber-stamping vaccine changes. 1/

OK, as the actual journalist who has been unwittingly caught up in the Claude rumor this morning (who also covers AI disinformation) let me clear this one up for the record.
To recap: Claude kind of implicated itself in the Iran school bombing citing (in part) my reporting...
That's what I was wondering
