FRIDAY 11AM UPDATE: The heavy snow has transitioned mostly east of I-25 now. Steady wet but light snow falling in Boulder as our temperatures have creeped up to 34.5 degrees. Roads just wet and the March sun should keep it that way until closer to sunset. Travel impacts remain low below 6k ft #cowx

As we alluded to last night, we're now looking at a stronger, slower storm with higher snow totals, slushier roads down low, and heavy snow in the Foothills/Mtns with difficult travel there.

Clear upward trend across most modeling this evening (more snow/precip). Tracking the potential for several hours of moderate/heavy snow across the Denver area Friday morning into early afternoon. Will see if this trend continues, but Friday should be interesting #COwx
