The TrekRanks Podcast is a celebration of all the things we love about #StarTrek from @EnterpriseExtra. No wrong answers. No nitpicking. Just our favorite things about Trek, from #TOS to #SNW! (Also, I was on the show and fired the phasers! Crazy.)
JΓΆrg had that one in his sleep. π
It's hilarious. Especially when you then seem them splitting hairs on things like Spock's resurrection (makes total sense!) or Kirk keeping his same jacket with a loosely placed tracker on it from the Enterprise to Qo'noS to Rura Penthe (makes total sense!) or a million other examples. Iβ€οΈ #StarTrek.
Oh. My. God.
OF COURSE THERE ARE!
On the list!
Youβre thinking of the Omega-46s.
The Omega-47s only come in red.
"The Big Red Bow" from Nus Braka.
"I still owe you something. And believe me, it is coming with a big red bow. A special gift, just for you. You have no idea what a difference you've made in my life, Nahla. I want to thank you. 'Cause you're the best teacher I ever had."

Are you seriously complaining about a wall in space? (Haha! OK. That's a legit thing to have a laugh about! But also, have you ever watched the show?!?) So many walls in space in #StarTrek! And nope. They don't really make a lot of sense.
But, it's a pretty damn fun TV show, though! #SFA 5/end
Are you seriously complaining about Jay-Den and Tarima coming up with a trick to fool the ship's internal sensors so they can stowaway on the Athena? (Have you ever watched #StarTrek?!?) I'm sorry if the show is smarter than you. #SFA #StarfleetAcademy 4/
Are you seriously complaining about the Athena hiding in a nebula to avoid detection from the big bad? (Have you ever watched #StarTrek?!?) It's pretty good. You should give it a try. #SFA #StarfleetAcademy 3/
Are you seriously complaining about how easy it was for someone to steal a shuttle? On #StarTrek? (Have you ever watched the show?!?) My god. #SFA #StarfleetAcademy 2/
π§΅
I've seen these idiotic points come up in a few places, so I had to have a go. #SFA
Nus Braka didn't steal the Omega Molecule. He stole the ability to create a synthetic variant of Omega w/the same destructive effect. That's why it took so long for Starfleet to put it together. Pay attention. 1/
I cackled.
I'll be in my office.
Verified!
See?!? Sounds fake!!!
(TrekRanks.com for all the gory details!) But normally people just want me to shut up about it already since itβs been 20+ years and, well, I never shut up about it. Just a diehard fan that won a charity auction for a walk-on role, and got the experience of a lifetime. (I fired the phasers!) Insane.

I was on Star Trek.
Yeah, some real bad temporal calculations on that one by me.
Nope. My calculations are perfect.
π₯² Heβs the best.
That's some real shitty temporal calculations happening in that post right there. Wow. #FranklinDeservedBetter
ICYMI: No better way to celebrate the memory of James Doohan, born 126 years ago today, than to dive into our latest TrekRanks, celebrating the miracle worker himself, w/ the "Top 5 Scotty Episodes." From Doohan to Simon Pegg to Martin Quinn, we have it covered.

In black and white silhouette only, a little boy holds a hand up to his eyes to strain to see in the distance while standing on a slightly raised train track in a field. The text at the bottom says: βV is for Victor squashed under a trainβ
By the way, this my favorite Gashlycrumb Tinies letter. (I always imagine the train just barreling in from the other direction. π€£)
Masterpiece! (This is like the "The Gashlycrumb Tinies" for #StarTrek! Which means you need to choose your favorite letter and relay it to @tehborg.bsky.social!)
Mine is letter "N" for Nausicaans.
It was hard for me not to pick it! (So I had to give it its deserved props in Secondary Systems!)
