I remember you pointing out once that the reason so many people like L&O is because it’s how we all wish the police actually acted, not cause we’re all fans of cops. I liked that.

I liked their first two albums, but once Chris Martin married Gwyneth Paltrow and the music wasn’t just about him being super sad and lovesick literally all the time I lost interest in the band.

I hate it but also it’s strangely satisfying in the sense that you wake up, you’re hot as hell, you pull the blankets off and the sweat does its job and now you’re cold, so you move to the other side of the bed and now have to curl up under the blankets again to get warm. Repeat.

I also woke up covered in sweat and had to switch sides of the bed. But this always seems to happen to me the first few nights while trying to switch my internal clock. I have no idea why.
