Who has ideas for questions to determine #HPC maturity?

I've been a bit lax about posting here last week but here's a recap #HPC #AI

Something slightly different this time. Weβre hiring in #HPC but this isnβt a technical role this time
Know anyone that might fit the bill?

I was thinking about swapping our team from Cursor to Claude instead but the #Claude website won't even render on my machine (MacOs, using Safari) i'm wondering if that's a bad idea now
#anthropic
just going to leave this here and sneak away before anyone gets upset π

#HPC #AI
No. So long as you can explain how you set those proportions and why.
ok let's see if bsky #HPC can live up to its name.... how do you create a representative benchmark?
cloudhpc.news/ingredients-...
that's a pretty cool map
Interesting that its noisy. what are the primary sources of noise in this?
not so much hpc this time ... but if you have experience / opinions around this and building companies i'd love your input
oh and if you think you're the right person to solve my problems just DM me.

Yes it really is that good. How do you think I got where I am today. All down to the keyboard. π

ah, no offence taken at all! π
Unit tests in human coding (especially in HPC for some reason!) do often take a back seat.
With AI coding though the growing consensus is that you need tests first (which you validate) that are generated from a spec. The actual implementation is then better focused
Now that everyone is firmly out of their holiday slumber... we're still looking to hire for a #HPC role at HMx Labs
Solid ability to write code is a must.
Interested? Hit me up.
cloudhpc.news/hiring-hpc-e...
yea.. that's what AI is supposed to excel at right?
the flow will very much be spec -> tests -> implementation with human validation at each step.
so in the end we came up with something along these lines π

Shall we try and write some real #HPC code using #AI ?

This week's #HPC news

I swear I recently saw an article that was shared on here about how Exascale isn't just a buzzword and what needs tone done to claim exascale... might have been on HPC Wire but now I can't find either the article or the post about it.
Am I going senile or does someone have a link to it? #HPC
