It was the end of an era tonight. After literally a decade, we watched the series finale of Stranger Things.
I don’t do sadistic plots, period. Cruelty for the sake of cruelty isn’t art, it’s just sadism.
It takes a LOT for a show to piss me off to the point that I drop it before the end, but that’s exactly what I did with Alien: Earth. I despised the characters, the plot infuriated me, and it was generally frustrating from episode 3 onward.
6 episodes is a sunk cost, but at least I saved 2 hours.

You know what's hilarious? An angry consumer publishes a scathing product review and ends with, "I will not buy ____ again!" But they accidentally type "now" instead of "not." It makes them seem like an avid masochist—"I hate this product! Worst ever! I will now buy it again!"
