Yeah..............
I think Apple would call their products "AI-centric" and ... I don't even know what AI features they have. So that's hopeful.
If anyone had suggested that I might really be a girl, I would have lived a lot more of my life as the gender I actually am.
i need to start bugging my elected officials about this. βbut we canβt override federal lawβ. there is no federal law.
ohh, interesting. illinois is great, i was born there and changed my birth certificate in under a week. 1 page form too.
isn't it kind of time for blue states to start issuing birth certificates and drivers licenses for trans people in red states that can't change theirs?

snowstorm has made my boots so dirty, puppies and kittens. whatever shall i do?
the models do predict the water content and then apply a model to figure out how much snow that is (10-1 is popular). so this is figure-out-able.

apple watch: "you have slept with your watch every night for the last 3 years. so i have decided that i'm going to install an update tonight if your watch is being charged" <later> "you didn't charge your watch last night, wtf? no update for you."
do it when i'm showering, apple. wtf?
oh, and i do worry about the effect of more and more AI generated code being added to the codebase. it definitely aims to add lines instead of deleting them. and it might eventually overpower "consistent with the rest of the code" with its own opinions, which don't typically impress me.
what this means is an "i can always tell" effect when something is AI generated, which is not ideal. but in general, i'm warming up to using it and think that it's something worth spending a little time on. if your employer is paying for it, that is. i wouldn't buy it for myself.
i've found it to be pretty OK. what i haven't found is people willing to get it into the state where the code is actually polished. i think their eyes glaze over, whereas i'm willing to say "no, use atomic.Pointer instead of a mutex", "no, don't preface every log line with the name of this branch"
