Seriously depressing how bad grifters fumbled AI. Would have been so excited years ago by the prospect of "you can just tell your PC to do something and it'll do it." But the current implementation is so bafflingly unethical that I feel bad for even mentioning being hopeful about it at one point.

Thanks! So far I got FL Studio and learned a bit how to use it. I think all that's stopping me from actually putting down the tracks and making a serious attempt is this fear that I'll miss something crucial because of my lack of conventional music knowledge. Helps to hear it's valid to just go in

my least favorite video editing trend has got to be the thing where the audio keeps getting pitched up and down and up and down. Idk if it's supposed to be funny but it just feels condescending to me. Like as I'm infantile and need le silly editing to pay attention or something

Heck yeah lol I played it on a gba emulator on the Wii ages ago and I think it was my favorite way to play it just because it somehow felt so “right” seeing it on a console. They kept the whole aesthetic of EB aside from the palette being a little brighter to accommodate the GBA screen

Ooh nice! I’ve played it both portably and on a TV and I can definitely recommend going the CRT route. Will probably make it feel even more like an extension of EB than it already does

I feel like you’d enjoy Mother 3 if you get around to playing that too, it really leans into this sort of messaging way more than EarthBound did
