I don't have a ton to do at my new job just yet while I'm still learning, so today I spent most of my shift reading Wolf of Withervale from @joabaldwin.com. I can't remember the last time I read over 100 pages of a book in a single day. I'm hooked, and I've barely just begun!

Noss Saga readers :D ... But really, not taxonomists or biologists or whoever. It should be easy to be interpreted by any person who doesn't hate mammals as "oh, I know this animal!" (even if they don't know it's name) but not as "I see a fox!"

And yes, I tried like 20 iterations of mask shapes and some look cool, but they do NOT work with the full set of icons, it stands out horribly and I decided not to do it.

I'm designing icons for the Noss Saga clades, and I need one for the musteloids (which includes skunks, red pandas, raccoons, coatis, weasels, otters, badgers, wolverines).
RULE: no negative shapes inside the silhouette (no raccoon mask/eyes/stripes).

Aww, that's so awesome. I still love the golden frame version, but for some reason the high contrast and detail on it messes up the compression for posting it online. Always looks terrible on websites, but super nice with no compression or in print.
