Nice, good for the kids around here. Frankly, I had not heard of this jerk until your post, which is kinda funny because why would a west-coaster even know Kitchener exists much less know any sordid news from hereβ¦

How on earth is my OLD Gmail address suddenly in the constituent mailing lists of multiple Toronto city councillors???
That weird colour banding is an artifact of the digital camera snapping a digital screen.
There is apparently a video to look up from a previous talk in 2023.
Introducing the Science of Happiness, and that it is a new, *exploratory* science, not yet an explanatory science.

May I *yoink*? I mean, that belongs right beside something I scribbled down from a writerβs essay that LLMs donβt improve writing any more than a blender improves a salad.
Welp. With that, I am off to βno plans, just vibesβ Gemini pro learning lab.
Remember, if I ever tell you raisins belong in buttertarts, thatβll be me blinking twice, send in the extraction team.
Now we are teaching children that the courtesy and social graces - things which require cognitive and emotional effort and are therefore finite resources of which we can be depleted - are due to the toys and machines these same objectifiers build for us, imbuing them with the faint synthetic [β¦]
When I tripped into nascent digital social networks, I quickly saw the phenomenon of the DEpersonalization that happened when human interaction was abstracted down to text exchanges at a distance. It led to objectification of people as only the services they could provide to those who had a [β¦]

While I appreciate the humour often posted, I'm not sure if should be offended or not that I'm being followed!

This is why blocking ads and trackers is not just a suggestion. It should be a baseline of your online existence.
I really want to get some contact info to talk to some of these ppl about how to apply these principles in retrofit. It of course is NOT feasible in many cases to tear down a whole structure and build new in the same crater. Buildings 30-60 yrs old can still be sound enough to retrofit when [β¦]
We have now gotten deep into the weeds of technical components of building assembly - both waaaayyy deeper than my XP and damn all these people are talking way too fast. Admittedly, itβs a specialist domain that is usually speaking to their own community members.

Huh. I think I just saw a federated delete in action, on my app!
I was partway through reading a comment from @quillmatiq and my app bounced a little haptic tap, timeline refreshed and post disappeared.
Nice to see it worked but now Iβm curious about the rest of the comment . π
Whoo. Architect now noting how many critical contributors to efficient building operation just get missed because theyβre minor - like pipe and conduit insulation. If theyβre not specified and assigned as a responsibility to a specific subcontractor, they just get β¦ left out.

Do not ever suggest your malfunctioning customer portal/interface is due to MY not using Google products. Fix your shit, or lose your customers.

Just lost my shit on a credit card call centre.
Their online portal has had me locked out months. It always was a horrible portal to get into and navigate, but I got statements until last Oct.
