Hmm. I think in abstracts a lot. Ideas that, when asked to apply words to, I have varying degrees of success. A single instant of an idea could take thousands of words to express.

For well over a decade I find myself thinking "when did we forget to dream?" every time I see a grandiose bridge or like the Hoover Dam. Virtually all of US infrastructure is crumbling because "there's no money" despite the endless budget for cops and wars. It's… disheartening.

My friend wrote a song that's catchy as hell and also has been stuck in my head (laudatory) for nearly three weeks. Everyone must listen to it and sing it to their friends and children and play it whenever they're feeling bad instead of great about shitty art.

Yeah that does not seem like a sufficient reason not to shorten workweeks—and I say this as someone living the precarity of work visa life.

inb4 someone comes at the marginal costs of keeping additional employees: research into 4-day workweeks shows workers are *at least* as productive in their 4 days as those working 5 per week, so I’m p sure the 3-day workweek would balance out those benefits. Checkmate.
