Rev E wire channel is even thinner, you have to use specific wire with a super thin PTFE coating... But it's worth it for the new Lemonstruder.
Nice work!!!!
this is a 3d printer called the lemontron
Rigid z-block design. Moved tensioner elsewhere.

Official printables release coming tomorrow
This new tool head drastically improved cooling!!! I posted a design *like* this before, but it took several iterations to really dial it in.
Witches blue on the tool head, generic black pla on the boaty
Ok guys I FINALLY dialed in the new tool head geometry and that bridge is looking tight
All that work just for a test
Started working on the gcode viewer part of Lemon Slicer. Surprising results after just an hour of work:
Toothed idlers. Now testing π
Lemonstruder π V2. Powered test. Gear ratio 72:20 (=3.6x) this has been a long time coming πΈ Yes, it absolutely slaps.
If anyone wants advance notice, this is using a big K1 extruder gear. amzn.to/4iQSMu8
This is the visualization feature, straight out of Shapr3D CAD software. I'm simply blown away...
Finalizing the design for the gear reduction extruder
Gear reduction prototype for Lemontron
So, I've been learning Swift.
Pro tip: begin the video at "I was the person preaching..."
Guess what just showed up after sailing 45 days in the sea β΅
If you like Lemontron, you might like this too. This guy is the hero we need. All FreeCAD really needs is someone to work on the UI.

I'm really really proud of this BOM optimization down to 10 screws, look how many screws do double duty or 5x duty :) How many printers do you know that use 10 screws!
The notification shade and quick toggles are now separate too for some reason? What is going on at HQ?
π Rev D is OUT! π This is the cleanest update yet! And once again it's backwards compatible, meaning all the 3d printed parts fit together in the same way. New bracket, new heat set insert geometry, eliminated screws, and lots of DFM! Read changelog π www.printables.com/model/115552...
Thatβs asking for a 3d printer mitch3d style
That nozzle really just gave up
