Is it one of those things where in USA cars do still make a noise when locking/unlocking? or have they moved on from that?

The most dangerous thing for me is when something goes well, and I decide to try doing it again, and it rarely goes well...
Congratulations to @sharonhodgsonmp.bsky.social on her new role Minister for Public Health and Prevention.
Sharon has been a strong supporter of people with ME/CFS and has spoken in a number of parliamentary debates. Here are some highlights from a debate in 2019.
It did look like France wasn't allowing overflights, has this now changed?
A lot of leftists are so anti-US and anti/imperial that they are out there posting in support of the Islamic Republic of Iranβthe government that kills its own people, even following the wounded into hospitals to do so, only to then be self-righteous at attacks on hospitals.
It's a keyless system.
It doesn't even say "key not detected" or light up when the brake pedal is pushed so i'm very suspicious of the switch itself.
Pressing the starter button does nothing at all.
Doesn't turn on accessories, or light up when brake pedal pressed.
The car does still sense if you try to lock the keys inside.
and I'm now knackered and shakey. Great day..
I'm leaving the boot open to dry it out.
Cars REALLY don't like sitting unused. Especially ones with complicated electrical systems.
Felt up to going for a very quick drive.
Car won't start. π€¬
Battery fine, checked fuses, disconnected and reconnected battery.
I suspect either an issue with the ignition switch or the immobiliser thing in the wet boot.
I suspect it's scrap, but have ordered a secondhand switch.
Knackered now
It'd be interesting to see how patriot missile production, (and other arms) has changed since Trump stopped Ukraine support.
If they had given Tomahawks to Ukraine, (even with strict restrictions on their use) they wouldn't be in this position now.

North Somerset Council have entered the conversation.
It's about getting the balance right, this infamous scheme, without consulting properly, seems transitional from the dictatorial schemes of previous councils that always seemed to make things worse.
A tweet from the Daily Mail with a headline saying "Four biblical signs the world has entered the end of days as US bombs Iran
This perfectly illustrates my point that the British tabloids are aiming at a US audience. There like 5 people in the UK who think about this. But it is huge among US evangelicals.
British politicians need to ignore UK tabloids, as UK tabloids are talking to an audience in the US for clicks.
Does this also explain BBC's over focus on USA matters?
Russian components, a "Kometa" CRPA antenna, were found in drones attacking a UK base in Cyprus. Though unconfirmed by officials, if true, this "Kometa-M" use signals deeper Russia-Iran cooperation in navigation and electronic warfare.
The Danelaw divide still evident.
New & important preprint paper:
Search of Lost Volume: The Potential Causes of Hypovolemia in Myalgic Encephalomyelitis/Chronic Fatigue Syndrome
Klaus J. Wirth
#ME/CFS #pwME #Hypovolemia #Vasopressin
There was a report of drone/s intercepted the day before too, which were potentially destined for Cyprus, although depends where they were intercepted...
I wonder if are Iran following a set battle plan on the assumption of who they thought was going to target them?
Although if that was what he meant why didn't he just say it... Just makes shit up.
I imagine Iranian militias/bombs in Iraq perhaps?
When was his last cognitive test?
Lack of experienced experts in US team means they were seemingly relying on outside sources to interpret it for them,
Yeah when you outsource all of your MENA expertise to the FDD, which is little more than a lobbying firm for Israel, it turns out you'll get war.
Was this entered by the right winger who trod in a steaming pile recently?
The video was amusing.
Hang on, I thought Denis Norden presented this??
Nobody has more experience in countering Shahed drones than Ukrainian forces. The US, Israel and the Arab states in the Middle East should request their knowledge, instantly. The fact that Iranian Shahed drones can hit high-value targets of US forces rather easily is very telling.
Were UK bases used in the attacks, and are any now able to be used in response to the Iranian response?
Something to do for journalists: which bases is the us using for the attacks and what do those governments say (Al-Udeid, Ramstein, Diego Garcia?)
Many of you will have been alarmed by the news of the US & Israeli attack on Iran and be wondering what this means for you. Weβve put together some reliable, fact-checked, information to help you better understand the situation and take any necessary action.
