The quality of the cold outreach they promise you (beast mode!) versus the quality of their cold outreach to you (cartoon dinosaur)
Nothing puts me off a lead-gen agency faster than watching them put so little care into how they generate leads for themselves.
This is the type of AI coding story I like. Interesting, detailed, no hype.

I tried out Claude Code and liked it, but those usage limits were crippling. I've found Codex a more than capable replacement! Admittedly only for hobby side projects, but the quality is generally high and the quota is generous

I love how I set up a direct debit for VAT so they can take the money when they want, and they always take the money out after the deadline and then charge me interest for being late ๐
Pluribus poster
Pluribus Season 1 - interesting plot, great cast, wonderful performance by Rhea Seehorn. Yes, it's a slow burn at times, but the atmosphere and the attitude carry it through. Watch it and be impressed!
What are the chances!?
Playing "recreational" poker really helped me understand the art of decision-making with incomplete evidence, making small investments to learn more and when to give up a losing hand/avoid sunk cost. It's really helpful! (Love the book "Thinking in Bets" by @annieduke.com as well)

Aw, thanks! Good to know that people are listening ๐
I currently have 4 Codex-assisted projects on the go... I haven't built anything with my own hands properly for years but it's fun getting back into it
Hello! Yes, I know Toby from back in the day - thanks for the other recommendation. Seems like all the tech people stayed on Twitter ๐คฎ Hope the year is starting strong for you!
Who are the best voices in tech to follow here? Product management, design, engineering and founders - are they here? Who!?
I was on @oneknightinproduct.com's podcast last week, talking about user research in the age of AI.

Been having a lot of fun with Codex (yes, Claude Code is great, but those quotas!) and have upgraded my Workshop timer... I've used this to run 30 workshops in the last year, and it's really helpful - check it out!

Here's my new podcast episode with Tim Herbig, product management coach and author of "Real Progress". Tim thinks too many product teams are making "Alibi Progress" and wants to help teams make real progress by helping them identify where they're getting blocked up.

It's not a long list, but:

- Lethal Weapon 2
- Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade (if we're counting sequels to sequels)
I wrote this discussing an interesting finding from "The State of B2B Product Management 2025" survey I've run with @saeedwkhan.bsky.social
