Same! It makes sense to work at one of the first companies for a while, to get a sense of how they do things, and meet people with high standards. But I *imagine *the day-to-day work there would not be as fulfilling as what Iβm doing now.

Crazy how much the industry has shifted
A truly shitty way to handle the acquisition for any customers not living in the USA⦠Things started going downhill from the moment the company rebranded to Limitless. I hope somebody will remake Rewind one day.
Unfortunately I pre-ordered one of those devices two years ago. It arrived in October and now I can't use it because they shut it down in the EU as soon as the acquisition was announced.
You'll crush it! πͺ Take care of yourself
I am so ready for this
βProductivity hackβ
Have your friends sit with you at the bottom of your screen while you all work/study together for some cozy online body doubling
Our FREE DEMO is out now for PC and Mac on Steam if you want to give it a try π
Thanks! I kept the problem at bay for a few years by opening the watch and inserting a tiny piece of paper to apply pressure. (Or rather, my late dad did. I was a kid at the time.) But it kept getting worse and at some point there was no more room for paper :P
This makes my blood boil! π€¬ Especially the part about Google βsilently blocking RCS on rooted phones.β This is why I had to stop rooting mineβ¦ Banks and even games intentionally prevent their apps from working on rooted phones, for βyour securityβ or βfairnessβ, which ofc is bullshitβ¦
I wish I could use it right now, but the screen of both of my old Pebble watches has turned to 100% static. They became completely unusable a few years after I bought them. Huge shame.
Almost unbelievable that anyone would, first of all, say these things, and secondly, think itβs a good idea to upload a video of himself saying them to the internetβ¦
Honestly never got what "stories" are supposed to be
Wait, what? Hope this is a dumb experiment theyβll get rid of before I ever see it! I can see how it could be useful as an optional thing you can turn on if/when needed, but making that the DEFAULT?!
Isn't it already happening? The less you know, the more susceptible you are. All the people who started making software for the first time with LLMs are doing so with React and Tailwind. I literally saw someone on LinkedIn refer to Tailwind as "the next generation of HTML", I think non-ironically
I can't tell if this is sarcastic
Don't think so
Yes, before Apple bought it. It was an independent app on the app store. I feel old for remembering it xD
Not necessary, but keeping the items you placed in your cart there between sessions comes close
Been using Instapaper for years. Never liked how Pocket felt more like a magazine with recommendations than a personal stash of articles to read later. I also love Instapaper's speed reading feature!
I also realize that logic might be flawed. After all, what a person sees on Twitter is determined by its algorithm. It can keep showing people stuff they will agree with regardless of how many on it disagree.
I think many people stay because they don't want to widen the left/right gap. If all the extreme right-wing people are on Twitter and nobody else is in there, it makes their echo chamber even more effective. Likewise, if everyone on Bluesky agrees, that's an echo chamber too.
1feed.app β It's got a unique concept: you see a list of every feed you follow and only their latest article. You can scroll horizontally to see more. That way, feeds with more posts don't bury the ones with only a few!
AHAHAHAHHAHAHA imagine that π
Thought a starter pack of CSS-Tricks authors would be a fun way to find folks.

I wish I could save this as a list instead!
This sounds exactly like what I've been looking for!! I hope my search ends here! ππ»
Site builders but not static site generators. Or do you know of an SSG with a built-in CMS? I've heard of Publii, that's probably the only one.
Been playing around with Figma Sites all day. I never saw that! It really is buried
I tried it out briefly but it literally crashes when I was looking around one of their demo files. Also, no desktop app, so my browser extension keyboard shortcuts overlap with theirs and they donβt let you remap them. Iβll be keeping an eye out for improvements
I am 100% sure I've already seen that, but I don't remember where!
