year ago one could have said the same thing about learning how to google :)
youβre welcome - and congrats on passing the cert!
what guardrails are in place for the newly appointed AI czar?

is there a βwoke bibleβ for this βwoke religionβ one can read and study somewhere?
It's irritating to see these warnings/deprecations when I run `npx create-next-app@latest`.
@nextjs.org folks, how can I fix these/get rid of these deprecations? Does it even matter?
If I run audit in the project folder, it's has 0 vuln. is this just the create-next-app issue?

I am using Claude and v0 daily - from helping me create small scripts, rewriting my ideas, trying to do comparisons between concepts and drawing parallels; and v0 for quick UI prototypes/mini-tools
if youβre not putting AI everywhere, you should be at least spending time exploring the tools and youβll immediately see where you could incorporate it.
I still prefer Slack over Discord. and email over slack
I created a simple Python script that takes in a tree-like text representation of directory/file structure and makes the actual structure on disk.
The time it took to create the script using Claude is comparable to the time I'd spent manually creating the structure.
I am looking forward to check out the ArchGW today. Starting a couple of hours!
Help @zaman.io with his awesome 10Gbit router project youtu.be/J-gnchrGIPw?...
I'll be doing a live stream tomorrow and explore the Arch gateway.
Join me at 3pm PST. Link below.

the sdk doesnβt really matter here if the client is directly making requests. the secrets at attached at the gateway level.
at least for LLM apis, the traffic will be L7. I am thinking of API GW functionalities (at ingress) for traffic going to external services/apis - hence i am calling it an βegress gwβ.
An (egress) API gateway is *the* point where all your AI consumption should go through.
If you're new to AI, InstructLab is a set of tooling to help anyone (not just data scientists) align an LLM to their specific data.
- You continue to own the data in the model
- You can do it with private LLMs, so don't share your data with the outside world
- It's all based on open source
yep, often correlates to quality/speed
quality - price - speed

phew, for a second i was afraid it was true
If you haven't yet, it's time to start learning and getting hands-on with the Kubernetes Gateway API.
It's *the* thing for managing ingress, egress, and east-west traffic.

I plan to submit for @CloudNativeFdn Kubecon EU a topic around preparing and passing the Istio Certified Associate exam.
Did you pass the ICA exam? If so, let me know if you want to submit a talk/tutorial together!
Email works best (first dot last at solo.io)
I went quickly from "I don't have power, I am cold and need some heat" to "Ugh, they haven't turned on the saunas at the gym yet", once I had the power back
still without power, but I finally found a place with internet!!
