I've recently had to use MS Teams, so here's my regular gripe.
MS Teams creates silos, not collaborative work. It's an awful platform and does not facilitate an effective, collaborative, online work space.

The iRobot/Roomba customer support is possibly the worst in the world.
On the one hand, I love having these robot vacuums/mops to clean up after my dog that sheds hair constantly.
On the other hand, I wish I went with a competitor of theres. Absolute joke
I agree with Grady with this, but the editing is infuriating.
This is worth a blog post / detailed follow up. If legal say no, this is worth a long chat in a pub about absolutely nothing related to it one day
Is that it?
I think when the AI bubble inevitably pops, this will become the future of AI tooling, there's no way the true cost of running this will be paid for by the consumers
I'm not using it, someone mentioned it earlier and I thought it was Jon all over, guess not
I was in London last week, and I chose to leave instead of go to NDC London, just because of this talk
Aspire?
@jonathanchannon.com Yo. Done much with Dapr?
I would love for them to go into more detail on the hosting model they describe that was compromised, was it literally a VPS like what I used to get for dirt cheap in 2005 to host my websites on?

Say π to ChatOps that actually works: the Grafana Cloud app for Slack.
Ask about system health, alerts, on-call schedules, and Grafana Cloud features; manage incidents and alerts; and collaborate: https://grafana.com/blog/chatops-that-actually-works-grafana-cloud-slack-and-ai-powered-observability

I'm not very good at it, but it just works, for so many things, and if it doesn't work, it's probably because you're wrong
Do you consider yourself the "truest" Irish American at this point? I do
The good news is I do need trains down to London on both dates, so I haven't screwed up that badly
HUGE bug fix in the IntelliJ platform for people use Claude code inside the embedded terminal. Can't wait for this to be shipped in the next update. Nice job @jetbrains.com

Jeans, socks, underwearonly in the dryer, everything else hangs to dry, annoying during winter but at least my clothes always fit :)
I will be in London on the 20th, but not at this event, and then I'll be in London a week later, at this event
Or on the 27th, which is when this event is...
God I've got my dates so wrong I can't even make a joke
So you're not going then :)
I'm going to be in London on the 20th Jan for the JetBrains fintech day (lp.jetbrains.com/london-finte...)
Will I see anyone I know there π
A quick search, halls at the glorious University of Hull is about what I paid 17 years ago
I had a Β£3k a year maintenance loan + part time work to get me through, this was... a while ago so things are more expensive now I guess

There's the equivalent for all of their other IDEs too. This is a game changer
I think that becomes one for lawyers and courts. I think it's reasonable consumers assume that their policies and agreements with you, the customer are reflected accurately.
I understand that scepticism of course though
