Then Starfleet Academy is a must, too

Is it still open? My mum swore by umbrellas from that shop.

When both are working together the demand on healthcare drops around 20% which means that helps fund UBI.

We are approaching the ultimate Arsenal/Spurs moment.
Arsenal wins the league.
Spurs get relegated.
The unimaginable able could happen.

Then you are missing so much if you approach this show from this standpoint. 😁

I do agree. I responded to a guy who writes sci-fi who said Starfleet was not true Trek. SA is the embodiment of Trek. It has managed the impossible of paying homage to the various incarnations without being clumsy or cloying. SA perfectly understands its heritage. I have loved this series.

This series has been a revelation and a joy.

I support Starmer. More integrity in his little finger than the orange pedo turd has shown in his whole miserable life.

I am a gooner and love Ramsdale. His ability with the ball improved immensely at Arsenal. Grudgingly have to admit Raya is the better all round keeper. Ramsdale brings passion, heart and immense shot-stopping ability.

Reform fury as someone else wins
by Our By-election Editor
Tim Shipsink
The losing candidate in the Gorton and Denton by-election, Matt Goodwhinge, has demanded an immediate re-run of the election on the grounds that he lost
comprehensively to someone else.
"It's totally unfair and rigged,"
said Goodwhinge.
"I shouldn't
be required to sit there and suck it up, just because I lost."
Mr Goodwhine continued, *I can't believe that all those voters I demonised failed to back me.
Especially after I was endorsed by Tommy Robinson and ten million Russian bots on X.
"We have clear evidence of family voting, where people voted in order for me to stop deporting their families."
Mr Badloser concluded. "I'm the victim of colour prejudice.
They didn't vote for me simply because I'm not green."
Reform leader
Mr Farage,
speaking from a sun lounger on a rock near the Chagos Islands said,
"It's a tragedy that the people of Manchester won't see Matt in Westminster, but my constituents don't see me in Clacton either."

PLUMBER DEFEATS
MATT GOODWIN

Beautiful from Private Eye on the massive toddler-tantrum that Matt Goodwin and Reform are having, because they got whooped in Gorton and Denton.

This is one of the best Trek series. There is a lot depth to the characters and stories. Well worth investing your time.

Starfleet Academy has been totally ’Star Trek’.

Starfleet Academy is awesome. Far from fatigued.

All seems unnecessarily complicated.

Ignore that. A straight UBI monthly payment of around $1200 permanently. This is what we are talking about.

04.03.2026 21:49 πŸ‘ 1 πŸ” 0 πŸ’¬ 0 πŸ“Œ 0

Real UBI would be for everyone including the wealthy. Their contribution would be recovered in taxes.

Now imagine Universal Basic Income's impact on society.

They would also receive the same payment as every citizen would so it would be hard to argue against it, otherwise they would look like selfish knobheads (although most people reaslise they are already)

That is called being human

04.03.2026 11:51 πŸ‘ 0 πŸ” 0 πŸ’¬ 0 πŸ“Œ 0

You are deeper in to the detail than I am but I am coming from the angle that more time and energy is expended on wealth taxes which the wealthy have an incentive and money to resist, we should instead push for UBI. Which would then open the general population’s eyes to beating inequality

03.03.2026 21:11 πŸ‘ 1 πŸ” 0 πŸ’¬ 1 πŸ“Œ 0

The impossible paradox.
This is why Labour should have just ignored right-wing media and political parties.

03.03.2026 19:46 πŸ‘ 2 πŸ” 0 πŸ’¬ 1 πŸ“Œ 0

Wealth taxes are a waste of energy. We should push for UBI, as this would give citizens the ability to avoid shitty low paid jobs. This in turn would surely put pressure on companies to pay a proper salary. Which is effectively a wealth as company profits would be lower & CEO bonuses lower too.

Opinions and ideology are not left or right just a circle. If Yuou go round far enough, you meet yourself head on.
