Extending the ACA tax credits will save 130,000 health care jobs and stop a massive price hike in health care costs at a time when working people are already being squeezed by rising costs. For months, working people have made clear that we won’t accept higher health care costs, lost jobs or bare-bones coverage dressed up as a solution to politicians’ self-imposed crisis. This vote, closely following the bipartisan passage of the Protect America’s Workforce Act in the House, proves that when workers stand together we can build a successful and bipartisan coalition to protect working families.
