The last time I saw Crowded House live was April ‘94 at Desperados in North Charleston SC. Their rendition of Private Universe was transcendent. Didn’t find out until much later that Paul quit the band after the next show in Atlanta 2 days later
AND Y'ALL, YOU CAN ACTUALLY WATCH THE FILM AT THE LINKED ARTICLE!!!
WE CAN WATCH A CINEMATIC DISCOVERY DATING BACK TO ALMOST 130 YEARS AGO
***I CANNOT OVERSTATE HOW FREAKING DOPE THIS IS, GAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH***
Every. Fucking. Time.
This clip fills me with awe, excitement, and joy
I actually bought the Switch (1) physical version of PAC-Man World 2: Re-Pac for my Switch 2 because the Switch 2 version is a worthless empty game-key card. I’m angry that they’re even a thing. Waste of resources, waste of plastic
Come on people… the correct answer is:
Dead Men Don’t Wear Plaid
The reality of it has me buying the Switch version of physical games rather than the Switch 2 version, the most recent being Pac-Man World 2
Lollipop Chainsaw's Switch 2 release will now get a physical version due to high demand. And there are still people parroting the "physical is dead" nonsense. There will always be demand for tangible items. There will always be demand for ownership. Independence remains king!
Thank you for the heads up
Love that system, out of all my consoles I have the most physical games for the PS2
what movie do you consider “perfect”?
If you see this, quote the energy you bring to Bluesky
FFS people, it’s Good Will Hunting and every other answer is wrong
I’ve been so happy with everything Atari has been doing lately
If you see this, post a chef
One of my all time favorites. Such a unique off the wall show
Rodney Dangerfield as Thornton Mellon at graduation from the movie Back to School
The cast of the 1970s tv show Soap
Drop an old person you're going to turn into in the future:
While I’d love to become Thornton Mellon, I’m more likely to become The Major from Soap
Love this thread, love learning about the deeper history of film. Makes me want to search out more and more of the silent era.
Thanks for everything you do!
I had that model as a kid! Used to play with it all the time. Thanks for reminding me of it 🙂
Good article. I understand why they didn’t do it, but it always frustrated me that UMD versions of movies weren’t ever packed in with DVD’s as a “have your movies at home and on the go” kind of a thing. I would have happily paid a little extra for that.
I played the shit out of that album in college. That was one of my favorites on the album
Name a film flop that you wish had done better at the box office.
It’s a crime that this didn’t do better in theaters.
It was nearly a perfect film as is but the Director’s Cut managed to make it even better. One of a handful of films I can recite line by line from memory.
Harley Quinn
