Picked up Elex II on PSN as it claimed to do the whole technology + magic thing I very much adore in settings like MOTU.
It's a bit jank. But I like the gameplay so far. Dear god does the Mainguy Protag have the personality of a damp and musty old towel though.
I'm really in the mood for an action RPG. I want to grind XP and slowly become more and more powerful. Not really feeling turn-based stuff atm.

I let my students try the original Super Mario Bros for a bit as a treat for doing well. Was fully expecting them to get frustrated with the difficulty, but they stuck with it and got incredibly excited each time they got a bit further in the levels.
Honestly gave me a bit of hope back.
