the least fun part writing a game in C# is the last 30% of the dev cycle where you make all the code objectively worse to avoid allocations 🥲

i tried setting it twice in the UI and it said "validated" or whatever but stayed wrong. i think it just needed an hour for DNS to actually propogate. probably. thanks for help!

so the winds have shifted once again and i believe i will, in fact, be open sourcing my rust game dev framework. i wasn’t going to but i got some help and think if i can get one or two more additional core people to help manage it by the end of next year, that would be ideal

This set of observations is produced by my scrolling Reddit and otherwise listening to people talk about "how to write."

A) there is no requirement that any of your characters has any sort of "arc" let alone a redemption.

B) there is also no requirement that your fiction has a plot.

What I would get the most out of would be an overly complicated simulation of ship systems akin to a flight simulator but I’m sure I’m in an even smaller minority there
