This station...simply π€
A small minibus stands outside Manchester Victoria railway station. The bus is bright yellow, with a red roof, and on its bonnet there's a prominent cartoon of a bee. The station entrance is on the left just behind some taxis, and behind the minibus in the distance we see double decker buses in orange or green.
#OnThisDay in 1987, the Bee Line Buzz Company started operations in deregulation era Manchester. Its little minibuses made a big impact, but competition was strong and it had disappeared from the region's streets within ten years.

BR Passenger Timetable from 1984, showing red double arrow in two point perspective on a yellow background
So pleased that I managed to get hold of a copy of the 1984 BR Passenger Timetable today, courtesy of @motgm.uk.
Beautiful use of linear two-point perspective and referenced in the excellent book by @doublearrow64.bsky.social, my copy even came with bookmark and pullout map!
Those skylights are lovely! π
Nice! Wonder why some of them have yellow painted fronts though, and others don't?

Thanks all!
