It works
That's me :3 it should be still working. I'll check it soon
I have an entire day off today and I have a theremin I built myself in St Gallen for a friend of mine. It's not as good as Moog and it's semi analog but it should have at least an useful range and linearity hopefully.
I gave up on electroplating 3d printed parts. The chemicals and the conditions that are required for this to succeed make it almost impossible to do it well and safely in an apartment. A dedicated workspace would be needed. It seems that YouTube videos make it look easier than it really is.
I am so impressed with how much time and skill it must have taken to produce this commercial!

Turns out that you can print really nice rings with Bambulab P1S! I was really surprised a 0.2mm nozzle and 0.04mm layer height give you so much detail and that the printer is capable of it. This one is just spray painted, but I want to cast or electroplate them with metal. I designed it in Blender.
The chew toy came out perfectly, but honestly it turned out to be far less exciting than I thought. I guess it's one of those instances where you want something so bad, you get it and end up realizing it appeared much cooler in your imagination than in reality.
I love the way you work with colors. It has such a warm and pleasant vibe.
My condolences

In one video Trump says "You hear that sound? Oh that's a music to my ears", mocking people concerned about the national heritage. He behaves like a narcissistic dictator and not a democratic leader. It's unbelievable it somehow became acceptable to many people. Greetings from Switzerland.
I made this one for my friend a while ago. I wonder who knows what this is :3
We had to pick up a name for our team and since we deal with imaging and computer vision, I chose the name "Owls" and everyone liked it. Now each time we have a retrospective meeting, we need to pick our mood represented by an owl.
Excellent work! I've been trying to animate a capercaillie for a while now and this was my biggest struggle. Do you think you could share this project to be used as a study/reference? It would be so useful!
It's pretty decent. The stroke is very gentle as the bird is greatly utilizing the surface effect to make an efficient flight. Normally they have to flap much more vigorously. Here it looks so nice and smooth.
Another model I made a while ago is a giant oceanic manta ray. It's printed and finished to look like metal. The base is walnut with a brass plaque. The model was made by the Digital Life foundation and is a scan of the real animal. I really like how the stand makes it look as if it was floating :3
I made this replica of a crysknife from Dune a while ago. I wonder what you think about it? The model isn't mine and I unfortunately wasn't able to find the source :( My work was mainly hand finishing it with epoxy and dyes as well as painting the handle.
Thank you so much! I actually got stuck with weight painting and making the wings fold without glitching too much and that's where I'd need the most help. Do you think we could talk on Telegram or Discord?
Absolutely stunning. I'm so impressed with the work on the feathers and the wings. I think it's one of the most beautiful and detailed avatars I've seen. Great work!
Thank you! I'm so impressed with the avatar you both worked on!
I went to watch some capercaillies live today! They're majestic and powerful birds. This is my next avatar project, but I will definitely need some help with animating the wings!
Yes it is!

Thank you for the amazing work taking the pictures and making this world! It really showed me how important good light and environment are to make the character shine!
