Trump wants cheap oil. It was about lifting sanctions on Russia since he just screwed up the Middle East.

Anyone with objective observations has seen this coming from the Republicans since Reagan. This was the inevitable result. Anyone with a brain should never vote for a Republican again.

The industry's lies have essentially stolen a generation’s worth of time that we could have used to transition to cleaner, safer energy sources.

“Not learning” was your original point.

You could even replace “Middle East” with “Iran”, if you know your history, and be just as poignant.

The fact that Donald Trump is going to try to subvert the 2026 elections doesn't mean he will be successful. We have shown before that we can fight back in court and win. The key is that we must educate everyone about what is going to happen and what they can do as well to defend democracy.

Authoritarian regimes find a way to make EVERYONE a criminal for some innocuous reason.
