That sax absolutely killed me and the wiggling amalgamation of ketchup-based liquids is just unbelievably funny.

Video Gaming Hot Take: It's okay to stop playing a game you aren't enjoying.

Even if the game is popular and everyone is stating it's the second coming of Christ, you can stop playing it and more importantly, you do NOT need to justify your decision.

It's not technically illegal to cover yourself in KY jelly and squirm around on the floor screaming "I am the Worm Lord" but it's still something that can cause an issue in the community.

A screen option in one of the games in Gradius Origins that has a setting where you can show hitboxes.

I really need to pay more attention to the Gradius Origins settings. Like the ability to show HITBOXES (I literally JUST found out about this).

I've always felt that the hitboxes in Gradius were a little funky - well now I can see why!

Yeppers. I will NEVER get on anyone for wanting to change difficulty in a game.

I've been playing shmups for over 40 years. Speaking for myself, I can't tell apart a lot of shmups unless it does something memorable or unique or has an interesting aesthetic.

Also, I honestly don't have the time or interest in trying to recognize all shmups.
