A letter sent in to Dallas Morning News in 2019 about the Von Erich's.
Simple information about what the SAVE Act would actually do to American voters. Tens of millions would lose their right to vote unless they spend lots of $$$ and jump through bureaucratic hoops before November.
2011 was the last year when Gulf of Mexico was cool for a bit, but none of us realized it. We will never see that again.
This paragraph resonates with me so so much and speaks to everything I’ve learned (often the hard way) over the last 15 years.

We are very saddened to learn of the passing of Camelworks. He did a lot to spread love of The Elder Scrolls and its lore throughout the community, and all of our interactions with him were extremely positive.
even if they're using LLM to write, the overview ones can't even ask it to write about the right things. that's rough
at this point, the students who write about the very short excerpts we give them instead of submitting a generic overview of the whole diary it's from couched in Academia Speak™ are my real ones. I rock with them because they're at least following instructions
my bf and I were racking our heads trying to figure out what gundam it was lol. I was thinking it was some ZZ one-off I haven't seen
what kit is this btw? Quin Mantha?
well if no one else is gonna do it
most of the qualities associated with it are just things that I see as the experience of being around neurotypical folks if that makes any sense. they tend to just do things that baffle me but I'm used to it by now
For those of you wondering why all the nerds are pouring one out for this Habermas dude and wondering why he was so important. If you've ever heard or used the terms "public sphere" and "private sphere," you are using Habermas terms.
“With all newspapers in Germany being told what to publish and how to write the news and editorials, it was inevitable that a deadly conformity would come over the nation’s press.”

Three Battletech novels rest on a grey couch: a 1988 FASA copy of Wolves on the Border by Robert Charrette, a 1989 FASA copy of Lethal Heritage by Michael Stackpole, and a 2001 Roc copy of Tedt of Vengeance

Star Trek The Next Generation scene. Ok so basically what we have here is an outdoor shot with a rock wall cliffy looking background. There are three people, humans, standing together. Their hands are up and raised as if they're going over the drop of a roller coaster, but in actuality, they are in this moment sort of disintegrating. You can see their faces and arms and lower half, dressed in while linen, but the midsection of each person is sort exploding and disappearing and on fire. Layers are removed, so you see bones and some organs and I imagine if you kept watching this disintegration would work its way outward and a second later they'd basically be toast. No caption, just a fun and happy light hearted Saturday Star Trek post!
That's so weird that Team USA baseball started developing the worst vibes possible the moment that Pat McAfee became incredibly involved with them

If anyone wasn't of the belief that he's trying to create a state-run media, the fact that he shared this should take care of any hesitation on that front.

In a post on Truth Social, President Trump claimed the U.S. had "destroyed 100% of Iran's Military capability." The U.S. Embassy in Baghdad, meanwhile, urged Americans to "leave Iraq immediately."
