Distilled Living, through our VBarrels Co program, was delighted to assist Equip Expo with producing their own KY #Bourbon to celebrate their 42nd year of the show.

Sampling today for two hours only (and not available for sale). Triple gold winner! 🥃

9 Distilleries were set up and ready fairly early before tonight’s event at Midway University.

Equip Exposition to Debut Inaugural Bourbon - Fred Minnick Equip Exposition announced its inaugural small batch bourbon, Equip Reserve 42: Backyard Blend, which will debut at Equip Exposition. 

Distilled Living is proud to have helped bring this Bourbon to life! We worked with Equip Exposition to source barrels to their specification, provided palate training for the barrel selection, and managed bottling and route-to-market to produce this custom-label Bourbon just for them.

SIMPLE SYRUP BATCH RECIPE:

Ingredients:
• 1 cup water
• 1 cup sugar we prefer cane sugar/raw sugar to beet sugar for this

Instructions:
• Combine in a small saucepan & heat until fully dissolved
• cool before using and store in the refrigerator

Instructions:
• Salt the rim of your glass.

• Combine in shaker over ice:- 2oz Bourbon- 1oz Lime juice- 1oz and a dash Simple Syrup
Vigorously shake for 10-20 seconds.

• Strain into glass.

• Enjoy!
