Booted up everyone's favourite: Pokemon Scarlet to see just how "performance improved" it is... 60 fps everywhere. Pretty impressive!
Good thing I just had to buy a new console to get more than 15-20 fps (a generous estimate)...

I've been refactoring/improving some things in a theming framework I've been creating... Today I went from feeling productive, to feeling like I've over thought a problem and I've been wasting my time for months, back to feeling super accomplished... Does anyone else feel like that sometimes?

It's about a magician living in London who can travel between parallel worlds, all which have various levels of magic throughout them.
It was a random recommendation from a friend and I ended up _loving_ those books.
I especially can't wait to see @katannshaw.bsky.social's keynote video... I was stuck on booth duty and had to miss it! 👎

I like Notion a lot. If they just let me run my own auto backup, I think I'd be fine still using it to be honest.
It's worth noting that Obsidian is not open source, if that's something you're looking for.

I'm back to Notion after my brief test of AFFiNE. Not a huge fan of what seems like arbitrary limits on storage use? It's self host... It's storage I own. What?

I've been hitting ~95% usage of the 32GB that's in there lately. Hopefully 64 will do for a while.
So in an attempt to reduce monthly subscription fees I'm trying out AFFiNE, a competitor to Notion that you can self-host.
