There'll be sounds in the @godotengine.org Starter Kit: Racing! They'll be fairly basic but you're of course free to build a better engine sound simulation. Or just replace my two looping sounds for adjustments!

The track is built using a GridMap, so you can easily construct your own maps (or add a track editor to your game!) or even import your own track piece models

Many games that have active modding communities get a lot of sales thanks to those mods. So yes, the existence of the mod is thanks to the game (12 years old, btw) but the game is no doubt gaining sales thanks to the mods too

The Sims 4 is now allowing modders to sell their content through an in-game shop and EA takes... 70% of each sale. I think that's way out of line and 40% above the already controversial typical revenue share for platforms. Creators deserve better.

Thinking of creating a small asset pack that contains some 2D sprites (shmup, generic items, platformer basics), 3D models (character, environment tiles, items, enemy), font, audio files and such specifically for schools and makerlabs. CC0 licensed. Good idea?
