Glasgow Pub Quiz, the final Β£1000 question is:

"Take That's first Album had a four word title. The first two words were, 'Take That' -- what was the full title?"

After a long pause the quiz team captain says, "Was it 'Take That Ya Bastard'?"

The furore over the new Wuthering Heights film has brought old rivalries to the fore and in Haworth now, youth fights often break out among violent enthusiasts for the work of the different BrontΓ«s.

Here an Annite gang member brawls with a Charlottian.

Thanks to Brian Groom for alerting me to the fact that today is the anniversary of John Wesley's death.

This is the level of commitment artists need to show in their own game if they are to be successful. I bow to the (partially) sober 1982 Offaly team and their manager Eugene for this heartfelt celebration of their (limited) sacrifice.

I was at the Brudenell Social Club often when he was a regular so possible. He will have been able to live a pretty quiet life in Leeds if that was important to him: artists can disappear here, like Joash Woodrow and John Riley. I'm such an old fart I knew nothing of Mr Doom till you posted. Thanks!
