The Census Bureau has taken down American Community Survey microdata.
Thankfully we had a local copy, and now store it on @policyengine.bsky.social servers.
The CDC is scrubbing their data that records sexuality and gender identity. As of this morning, the Youth Risk Behavior Survey is offline.
I try to ask questions that are easy to find in the course materials and more obscure elsewhere. I then feed the exam through GPT and make note of stuff it brings up that I didn’t even talk about in class. Students are marked down if they include that stuff with zero critical thinking alongside.
