I photo of a bunch of crayons on a tray. They are in many colors.
Some crayons and a mold that was used to make them. The colors are a soft pastel rainbow.

Here's an update on one of my 'growler' instruments.
A fisheye image of the last hurrah at Las Vegas Furcon 2025. In the image the party host has his hand in the air, calling out that the party, and the con are about to end (just before 2 am monday morning) Here is an excerpt from my essay on furrycon room parties: I managed to capture some of the celebration at the very end of the convention. These events are happening mere hours before the 11am checkout time on Monday Morning. A quite literal last hurrah of the night, a celebration to the inevitable end of the convention and the transformations that have happened. The intense atmosphere of this moment stands with me. There was such a strong sense of the end, something this is encroaching. In the furry fandom this is called post con depression, it is a distinctly sad feeling, a pit in one's stomach, that is accompanied at the end of a furry convention. It is the feeling that you want this to last forever and you are faced with the inevitability that it must end. I find it amazing and quite interesting that there was a lingering sense at that moment to keep going as long as possible. We collectively avoid the tasks that are to come, we avoid the fact that this entire party space needs to be returned to the state of being a hotel room in just a few hours.

Two images from Las Vegas Furcon 2025, the last hurrah at a room party before the end of the con. This was taken just before 2 am on Monday morning. I really like the call and response that took place in this moment, it was marked with a feeling in me of not wanting the con to end.
I made these deer hoofprint stamps last year. I just used them again to make some last min glaze tests. I'm going to use them to sign some of my work as well. Its funny, they weren't that interesting to me last year but since finding them again they seem all too perfect.
These are a kind of instrument that makes a growling noise, I have only ever made short ones so I am now experimenting with long ones to see if I can give them a much lower pitch range. You can see an example in this video.

A long tube of dark brown clay that is wrapped into a knot with a large glob shape at one end. It resembles a horn.
Is there such a thing as a furry musical instrument? These are experiments in making a 'growler' form that is a long tube. For lack of a better word I am calling these growlers for now, I'll come up with a better name soon.
A photograph of a furry party at Las Vegas Furcon. The party was called Electric Oasis and was in Room 2607. The photo was taken at 12:32AM on April 20th, 2025. There is a DJ booth to the left and and several fursuiters dancing on the right.I do not know the identity of the people dancing. The photo is circular and has a warped perspective. This photo is a type of photo called a fisheye that has a warped perspective, it shows a very wide field of view that is collapsed into a circular image.
I have been processing through photos I took this year. I plan to start posting them.
