Watching a couple folks talking about the Incredibles

"The tropes are just a vehicle."

And I think that's interesting to remember when we start to worry about "overdone" tropes etc. Does it work in the context of your story? Do you enjoy it?

I think the silver accents help unify it a bit better!

A reference sheet for my OC Vale. A man in his mid 30s with light skin, elf ears and purple eyes. He has a very close trimmed beard and long dark hair pulled back in a half-ponytail. There's two head views, one with his hair down and one in his usual half ponytail. A size accurate reference for his sword, a color key and 4 views. one with an open shirt showing body hair, one with vest, long coat and short coat.

A updated reference sheet for my OC Vale. His looks has softened slightly and he's a little broader, a back view for his coat has been added and an alternate hair style. A man in his mid 30s with light skin, elf ears and purple eyes. He has a 5 o'clock shadow and long dark hair pulled back in a half-ponytail. There's two head views, one with his hair down and one in his usual half ponytail. A size accurate reference for his sword, a color key and 4 views. one with an open shirt showing body hair, one with vest, long coat and short coat.

Took some time over the weekend to update Vale's ref sheet. Enjoy this side by side comparison and slightly more value contrast (I hope)

Thank you for this glorious placeholder art, I'm excited to see the finished product but this is great!
