Registered and last-minute walkers raise awareness and funds for free community counselling programs and Revelstoke Women’s Shelter Society resources.

Local farm boosts processing capacity with new cold storage facility
First Light Farm is expanding its role as a local distribution centre with a new cold storage facility that can store crops purchased from around the region.
Affectionately called The Vegetable Bunker by staff, a new cold storage facility in Revelstoke is storing produce from around the region in the latest food security move for the city. The three industrial fridges can store roughly 60,000 pounds of food for future processing.
