Spotted from @remotegamejobs.com; GameDev.tv is offering 5 indie game devs $500 each as a sponsorship and applications close March 8th. That may be comparatively small to some, but to a lot of teams that can be a big help, and I love to see this kind of generous support.

We're looking for new Renβpy programmers to join our studio! Our team is currently working on a slice-of-life visual novel called Our Life: Now & Forever, and we are bringing on at least one new programmer to help complete the game.

Finished reading GRAVITY tonight! A really cool approach to thematic, characterful GMless play. I know at least two of my projects thisβll be a good touchpoint for, both of which could β with a little tweaking β work straight up as GRAVITY playsets.
Also: I feel pretty insecure about how few TTRPGs Iβve actually *played*. I love em, I read em, I talk about em, but I havenβt had great luck (or put the work into) expanding my play beyond a handful of games.
If we include solo games, Iβve started chasing those a little more aggressively: just this year so far Iβve played, at least partially, 1000 Year Old Vampire and A Visit to San Sibilia, and keep trying to start Project Ecco too.
For me, if weβre not including solo games:
β Roughly every 2 weeks I DM my home game of D&D 5e, and every so often play in a D&D (soon to be Kids on Bikes) campaign
β Maybe ~1 a month?
β Averaging maybe 1 every 1.5 years at this point? Last few years Iβve done Wickedness and Rom Com Drama Bomb
TTRPG folks:
β How often do you play (any) TTRPGs?
β How often do you read/learn a new (to you) TTRPG?
β How often do you play a new (to you) TTRPG?
Iβve almost read my way through GRAVITY and started in on BLEAK SPIRIT, and the games are good folks. The games are good.
New Kickstarter from Exalted Funeral that I hope you'll check out - I'm really excited to work on it!

I donβt want to memorize what year the edition was released in order to communicate which edition I play.
YES. GOOD. Delineating them by year was bullshit, and also very annoying.
Hi pals, looking for recommendations of solo journaling rpgs that deal with the theme of self love/care! Reply below if you know of any π

Writing is hard. Writing is great. Writing sucks. I love writing. I wish I could stop writing. I cannot stop writing. Please help. Please leave me alone, I have another 3 pages to get through. Please read my work. Please never perceive this garbage I've created. Respect me. Ignore me.
TTRPG industry folks, can you help me get in touch with someone from White Wolf please? Our old contact is no longer with the company and going through Paradox PR is getting crickets. Cheers!
ITS REALLY INTERESTINGGGGG it took me a while to figure out how it flows but itβs really cool and it makes you make some rouggggh choices sometimes too. I played a few hours today and felt like I was just scratching the surface. You gotta pick it up and we can compare notes!!
This weekend, tried three video games that I absolutely see myself diving deeper into: 9 Kings (roguelike deckbuilding autobattler), Sultanβs Game (card-based narrative strategy game) and Nightmare Frontier (tactical RPG extraction roguelike from the Rogue Waters folks).
Games are good, gang.
The draft page for chunking...
Dragonfly Motel is a TTRPG about surrendering to surreal impulses and drifting through dream logic weirdness, watching absurd elements suddenly align and form something strangely satisfying.
Final hours on Kickstarter now!

FYI for fellow narrative designers/game writers: the studio in question is Sentona Games and itβs my understanding they are currently interviewing to replace me. Be very careful with them. They were very nice to me and easy to work with right up until I needed the money I was promised.
YO are you making a zine for this? Are you PRINTING that zine, makin it exist IRL? Do you think it'd be cool for that zine to get sold out of a vending machine in a game bar in Portland, Oregon? DM us!
(Think: A6-ish or smaller, $25 or less retail)
Iβve had positive experiences with Ghost, though I havenβt been using it that long (and I primarily think of mine as a blog that also emails out to folks)
Theyβre gorgeous!
A picture of three TTRPG books: Gravity, Threadcutters and Bleak Spirit.
