EA App will open Battlelog via your web browser.
On Battlelog you can select multiplayer/singleplayer.
Once selected, Battlelog will finally launch the game.

The integration with Steam game recording is pretty cool and not something I expected. I hope other games implement that too (assuming they can).
Half-Life 2's 20th anniversary update is out, episodes were merged into the main game, and added workshop support.
It is also free to keep if you get it until 18th.
