I didn't know until Sara explained it that "bay" is a horse-related word, so the name works on more than one level!
Before the name had been finalised, one idea was to call it "The Horse Awakens"

Not quite the same thing but I bought Target Renegade for the Spectrum, it loaded once and then never loaded again. I took it back to the shop and they exchanged it for a different tape, which also didn't load on my Spectrum. I exchanged it again and it still didn't work, at which point I gave up.

It's based on a bunch of leaked speculative strategy docs from 3-4 years ago, completely misunderstood and headlined to make you rage-share it.

This notebook check article is written by an author who writes 4-5 completely unsubstantiated rumor articles every single day and posts them to his 40 followers on twitter that get zero likes (he hasn't gotten a single engagement with his posts on twitter in over a month)

The big stories are from tech4gamers and pcworld who both cite the same forum post which was written by ChatGPT windowsforum.com/threads/wind...

a lot of very serious people are reacting to a headline published by a website called "tech 4 gamers" no one has heard of before that just rips off a rumors piece in pcworld. it would be completely trivial to manipulate this information environment
