I released my Gen 5 DTQ on the anniversary of the Japanese release date - which was almost half a year ago now. It's wild to think that's how much longer we had to wait for Pokemon games to release locally back in the day.

I imported all of mine via yahoo auctions/mercari while I was buying Japanese copies of frlg/bw2, they were pretty cheap aside from the shipping (although i was already paying that anyway for the games so i had it all shipped as one).
New pieces for gen 2+ would be awesome but the trailer is all gen 1 so it might just be a full rerelease/remake of the existing figures and moves. Maybe now it'll be easier to find out what the actual rules are...

The setting for Champions is giving me huge Poketopia vibes from Battle Revolution, I love it.
Unless I missed something I don't think they mentioned ZA Home compatibility which is a shame, but 3/4 is pretty good.
Normally there's a brief adjustment period of "what is this creature" when they show a new starter linup but i'm immediately locked in on Pombom, fire starter always stays winning
- ZA mystery gift event for the last stone
- Home update news for ZA/dex completion award
- Champions release rate (or shadow drop?)
- Any tease or confirmation of Gen 10
If any of these aren't included I would be very surprised, but I think they're very safe bets.

I actually did give it to someone - there's a quest in Hammerlocke where a kid asks for an Applin to give to a girl he likes, and you get a Sweet/Tart apple after doing it (as well as your keeping Applin)
Bingo Update 6 - Shiny Galarian Yamask in 566 encounters! After suffering so much on my last target, Pokemon Day Eve decided to free me from my hunt early so I can watch the announcements tomorrow without any distractions. It even has a personality mark and 2-3 Speed IVs, too!

The voice casting for them was crazy work, they sound pretty much exactly like you'd expect them to sound.
Caved and bought some Black Bolt/White Flare packs after getting the itch at EUIC - part of me was hoping I wouldn't pull anything good and that'd put me off of buying any more, but I opened one pack today and pulled this. It might be over for me.
I think the more likely outcome is people with hacked switches working out how to modify the save data and then just using that as a way to move pokemon from hardware to VC and then into Home, like they did for Gen 1/2.
It would be insane if you could somehow modify a gba wireless communicator to communicate with the switch, but I imagine it would be a lot more complicated than that.
Since rewriting the Pokerap in 2019 there are now >200 new Pokemon - how many before you consider re-rewriting the Perfect Pokerap, or does every new gen until the end of time just get added to the audience participation segment? (it was awesome running into you at Worlds by the way!)

Yeah, I was surprised to see Zebstrika and Blitzle got to have the lightning bolt pattern on their logo when more popular Pokemon with similar marks like Arcanine didn't get anything unique.
Finally - paradox Pokemon get distinct patterns on them for past/future (but not Koraidon/Miraidon), and Terapagos also gets special backgrounds in both forms. Let me know if you find any that I missed!
Alcremie gets a unique background too, and the Galar fossils get a split colour scheme instead of a gradient to represent their hybrid nature. Morpeko and Tatsugiri also get colours to represent their alternate forms.
