My favorite feature in this release is a new image component and API we ship for JavaScript component authors to output responsive images. We created a standalone version of the Image component from Next.js and built the backend using Drupal image styles. Similar API for SDCs will be in beta1.

What @penyaskito.bsky.social pointed out to me was that having XB as well as Display Builder helps the ecosystem by uncovering needs for underlying APIs. An example would be SDC variants.

From what I've observed so far (though I haven't seen Pierre's session): Display Builder covers only a smaller subset of what XB intends to achieve. Also, Display Builder seems to target developers, while XB is designed for a much wider audience.

It was a great feeling to present in-browser code components for #ExperienceBuilder at #DrupalConAtlanta. Now we have some starter code generated for new components.

I gave this idea a go last year by building a waiting list to gauge interest: cosmic.build. I didn't get too far, I got sign-ups mostly from people who were interested from a Drupal ecosystem and novelty perspective, but not as potential customers.

Just wrapped up these accordions for Experience Builder's Library panel. They are also mapped to `vertical-tabs` and `details` in the "Reactified" entity form under the "Page data" tab. #Drupal #DrupalXB
