Also when I get home from the weekend, I'll try and do a fun challenge speedrun for the game I wanna invent. If my friends don't force me to play resident evil lmao. I'll try to work on rules and routing in the meantime.

Gonna work on doing a literary analysis on the Soundtrack of The Outer Worlds 2, so I'm just gonna start transcribing all the lyrics I can, unfortunately with the OA songs, no one knows Latin, and neither do I. So a little extra work to be done on the side.

This does mean the sentry blade weapon now has the same power attack animation as every other 1hand melee weapon in active combat. Ill need to do testing with run and Hitter to see if the effect triggers perpetually or not. Another work shift later, I'll be on it.

I've tested this further now that im home AND I was wrong. 'stealth kill' is indeed a power attack animation outside of combat. So the old power attack animations are still there in active combat. ALSO smoke grenades are now completely GOATed this patch. Still need to test mines.

Fortunately the All For None Fix IS retroactive, and I had a save just before my last companion left me, so it took literally 2 seconds to platinum the game after 417 hours of total playtime. Outer Worlds 2 stays goated.

Thank you for tuning stealth! The new power attack animations for one handed melee look great. The audible revive lines when you get revived is cute. And im excited to finally get the plat now that All for None is fixed. Stealth has never been more back than it is now.

Saying new stealth kill animations when they'll be primarily used out of stealth is a little weird though. But the other changes made to stealth are amazing. Especially not being IMMEDIATELY detected when killing an NPC. The sneak bonus added to mines is also gonna be busted.

Just tested the new stealth kill animations for The Outer Worlds 2, and it seems they're not stealth kill animations, rather they are entirely new power attack animations, whether you're in sneak or not. I think the animations on them look really good. Especially the plasma cutter.

Just beat The Outer Worlds 2 twice today trying to plat it. I think the companions abandoning trophy is either bugged or worded wrong. I tried to get companions to unequivocally leave my party, but it wasn't enough. Would they have to be killed by me? Got every other trophy tho, so plat will be easy

I think FromSoft refusing the existence of a bloodborne remake is actually a lot more funny and reasonable why it doesn't exist, especially last year. Like they shut down PSSJ in 2022 and expected no major consequences, but also FromSoft wants to stick to new shit. Makes sense.

The Kansas driver license thing is just the sublimation of every time I've said that we should be abolishing the gender marker instead of allowing it to be changed or having an "X" gender marker.

This game just gets me. I remember slamming this option on my first playthrough. One of the top dialogue lines you can say.

I wish I could say something more insightful, but all sides of gaming just seem awful from the people in charge. I'm scared for all the studios working under Xbox. But we see even with Sony, you can try your best and just get canned for nothing. And the guy in charge now will fall for "AI" scams ffs
